Though it says Brimley at the door, this is really about
all that are Brimley related
and that relationship is about Love!
So that being said, Welcome Family!
As some of you know this is not our first attempt at having a presence on the world wide web.
Prayerfully this time we will accomplish this goal. We are pulling out all the stops to have the
most complete and concise information that is Brimley to be found. Of course, this is going to
require a little bit of effort on all our parts.
We have implemented a state of the art Photo Gallery, Blog Messaging System, Calendaring System,
eMail and eMail aliasing (you can have a you@brimley-ar.com email address that goes to your existing
email address), Video and Media Players and Links for just about everything conceiveable. Also
we offer hosting for your personal or extended family webpages here.
Even with all that we are undertaking, we welcome all input/suggestions that will make www.brimley-ar.com
the place to visit that feels like home. We all know about the different yards that we come from and no one
knows that yard better than you, so when you see us telling the story incorrectly, correct us, better still
don't wait on us to tell the story send it to us via email and then it comes from the horses mouth.
Oops! after all this talk I've assumed that you all know who, us is? My name is Virgil, Brimley (of course)
and I am the eldest of the 6 children that JoAnne and Marion (Thomas) Brimley had. Since the only way
that makes any sense at getting at the truth is to start at the bottom, the site will initally appear to
be a bit one sided since my bottom and some of the rest of your bottoms have varying roots. Until someone
else decides that they want the privilege of being the site admin, that will be me.
It would be nice if we could someday construct a graphical Family Tree, knowing we have lots of branches.
To the best of my knowledge we have family members spread across the country. Arkansas, Michigan, Illinois,
Michigan and Wisconsin with the greatest concentration. All with at least one set of children. So it should
be clear to all that we have a little bit of work ahead of us, if we ever plan to accomplish a complete
family history.
